75cm Round. Mixed media finished in oil on canvas.

“Gathered Pieces” was created as an exploration of transformation through both process and portraiture.  Created through layers of texture, collage, ink, spray paint, acrylics and finished in oil. Revealing traces of what came before.  As the image emerges from the chaos of previous layers, the process becomes a transformation and symbolically the many layers that shape our identities, experiences and growth.

“Gathered Pieces” What was once scattered is gently gathered, revealing beauty in every layer that remains.
