50cm Round. Mixed media oil painting on canvas, ready to hang.

“Integrated Self” was created as an exploration of transformation through both process and portraiture.  Created through layers of texture, collage, ink, spray paint, acrylics and finished in oil. Revealing traces of what came before.  As the image emerges from the chaos of previous layers, the process becomes a transformation and symbolically the many layers that shape our identities, experiences and growth.

“Integrated Self” The quiet strength that comes from embracing every layer of who we have been and who we are becoming.
