"Wywudjah Want To Be Anywhere Else"! A magical place that feels like a deep breath - calm, open and grounding.  This painting is a response to the gentle stillness you feel there, where the river mirrors the sky and time seems to slow down.

In creating this work, I wanted to honour the quiet magic of this landscape, I've layered texture and pattern beneath the landscape, capturing the quiet complexity beneath its calm surface. It's a reminder that there is beauty in simply pausing, looking and being present.

"Wywudjah" invites the viewer to pause and go on their own journey, to wonder and reflect on their own moments within the stillness.
